Headline & Guest Poet Opportunities
We pay headliners and guest poets. Please get in touch with examples: audio & video links/recordings and/or bios and written files for consideration. We allocate 20-minute sets for headliners and 10-minute sets for guest poets.
Crafty Crows Poetry Zoom Open Mic
Born during the pandemic, we run a monthly virtual open mic event called Crafty Crows.
These regular monthly events, hosted on Zoom, are open to our members and audience members from the UK and worldwide.
The first Crafty Crows event was held in April 2020. Due to self-isolation, what started as a way to continue our events has created a truly open and international platform for poets and spoken word artists to share their words.

Free tickets are made available 30 days prior to each event and can be booked via Ticketsource www.ticketsource.co.uk/gloucestershire-poetry-society.
Events are also displayed on the GPS Facebook Page Events listings: www.facebook.com/TheGloucestershirePoetrySociety/events. Please note that open mic slots can only be booked by emailing us from 30 days before that event. This is to make open mic opportunities fair for poets.
